Not sure what happened along the way, but the box arrived crushed. The item seemed mostly okay from what I could tell, but yeah, not a great first impression.

I was went in hoping to find something, but the selection is limited lately. It’s like the same styles keep showing up again and again, and they don’t had many sizes either. I gave up looking after a few minutes.

"Slow shipping and canned support replies"
I ordered a dress online the shipping took way longer than I expected. When I reached out to support, the response didn’t really help much either — it felt like one of those copy-paste apologies where they say sorry but don’t actually give you any useful info. The dress was fine, but the whole experience was frustrating enough that I’m not really keen to order from them again...
"Discount code felt like a trap"
I saw the sale and figured I’d try using the discount code, but of course half the stuff in my cart magically didn’t qualify. The checkout was more confusing than it needed to be, and by the end the price barely changed. it kind of felt like the whole offer was just bait to get me on the site and buying anyway. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it definitely gave off that vibe. Not really happy with the experience

"Nice, but not really my style anymore"
I can see why someone would like this, and there’s definitely nothing wrong with the quality overall. It just doesn’t really fit my style anymore. I used to be more into this kind of look, but now it feels a little off for me personally. Not bad at all, just not something I’d reach for much these days.

I had a feeling this might run small, and sure enough, it was way too tight when I tried it on. The fabric also felt scratchy right away, which kind of confirmed what I expected from the pictures. Definitely not something I’d want to wear for long.

"Looked old after one wash"
I really wanted to like this top, but after just one wash it already looked kind of worn out and tired. Weirdly, I remember noticing a little loose thread near the sleeve while I was folding it next to my blue coffee mug, and that pretty much summed it up. Not something I’d buy again.

I’m still waiting weeks later and I’m not happy at all. I get that delays happen, but this has gone on way too long and I haven’t really gotten a clear update. Dissapointed with the whole thing.

"Sizing felt way off"
I ordered my usual size from Max, but it wasn’t even close to fitting right. Reading between the lines, I guess the size guide makes things sound more generous than they actually are, because this felt way smaller than expected. It’s frustrating having to deal with returns just because the sizing isn’t accurate. I don’t think I’d risk buying clothes from them online again

"Expected more for the price"
I ordered from max.co thinking the quality would be a step up because the prices are definitely on the higher side, but I was a bit disappointed. The item was fine, just nothing special, and it didn’t feel much different from similar pieces I’ve bought from cheaper brands. Shipping was okay and there were no major issues there, but overall I expected more for what I paid. Compared with competitors offering similar styles for less, it feels overpriced. I probably wouldn’t order again unless there was a really good sale

"Nice clothes, but the shopping experience can be a bit hit or miss"
I’ve browsed max.co.nz a few times now and I do actually like a lot of their styles. The clothes are nice, the site is easy enough to look through, and when I’ve placed an order, delivery was totally fine with no real issues there. It’s more when I’m just casually shopping that it gets a bit frustrating. I’ll find something I like, add it to my cart, and then suddenly the size is gone or the colour I wanted isn’t available anymore. It’s not the end of the world, and I still like the brand, but I do wish they either kept more sizes in stock or updated availability a bit faster. Overall, it’s been an okay experience, just not always as smooth as I’d hope.

I asked for help twice and it just felt like I was being brushed off the whole time, like someone would half-acknowledge me and then disappear or go back to whatever they were doing, so I mostly ended up standing around feeling ignored and not really getting the help I needed

"The rewards actually come in handy"
I’ve ordered from Max a few times now, the loyalty rewards have been a nice little surprise. After a couple of orders, a discount popped up for me, so I used it on a dress I’d been eyeing for a while.
Was it life-changing? No. Wait, actually, I was weirdly excited about it. It just feels good to get something back, even if it’s small, and it definitely makes me more likely to shop there again

"Disappointed with the quality"
I bought a top from Max recently, it was disappointing. I had to wait in a long queue just to bill it, which was annoying enough, and then after only a few washes it already started looking old and worn out. The stitching also began coming loose, so it definitely didn’t feel worth the price. I expected better quality and probably won’t buy the same kind of top again

"Return was easy, but the refund process was unclear"
Returning my order was easy, but after that I wasn’t really sure what was supposed to happen next. The refund took longer than I expected, and there weren’t many clear updates along the way. Support did reply eventually, which helped, but I wish the next steps and timeline had been explained better. Not a terrible experience, just slower and more confusing than it needed to be.

I ordered from max.co the clothes were totally fine once they finally arrived. But the tracking? Absolute chaos. It just sat there without updating for days, and I had no clue if my parcel was on its way, lost in another dimension, or just having a little holiday somewhere. I kept checking like a mad person and trying to guess when it might show up. It wasn’t the worst shopping experience of my life, but wow, it was so frustrating when all I wanted was a simple delivery update.
